Rhythms-International: As cool as the flipside of a pillow!

It is with much tears and sadness, that I announce the passing away of Mr. Angus MacKay, the DJ responsible for all the shows on this site, and co-founder of the Rhythms International world music show.

Mr. MacKay is no longer with us, but this site and the shows it contains are an immense gift, that he leaves for all the world to enjoy.

The music you helped me discover will stay in my mind and in my heart.

Goodbye Angus, I will miss you forever,

MACKAY, Angus Moray, 1948 – 2016 . Beloved husband of Neomie. Loving and devoted father of Henry, Liam and Callem. Dear brother to Elspeth, caring uncle to Erica and Benjamin. Angus will be sadly missed by his extended family and many close friends. Family will receive condolences at Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, Qc H2V 2P9, 514 279-6540 on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 2 to 3 p.m. A celebration of his life will follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
